<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hi dear friends!! We have almost made it to Friday!!! Whooo hoo!! I am so loving all my new Papertrey Ink stamps, dies and stencils!! Creativity totally adds spice to life, doesn't it!! I have a card to share inspired from the Make It Monday Challenge at PTI. Here's the challenge:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: x-small; line-height: 26px; text-align: center;">--Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and </span><strong style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; text-align: center;"><em>sponged stamping.</em></strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiysZU_vbfFGnKdbl6xED5ZvW2ZSNoNS4z0X1S5cvWitJftu-XjJEcUMrRDYqUnbBT6d6QK_JjTRnkpqj_aYb6Xsni6z50oZ4r0250jlfhCPwJrA7LTwmggol-s7y4hCr_7Xycb91-0Ah3W/s1600/16-March-10-Sending.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiysZU_vbfFGnKdbl6xED5ZvW2ZSNoNS4z0X1S5cvWitJftu-XjJEcUMrRDYqUnbBT6d6QK_JjTRnkpqj_aYb6Xsni6z50oZ4r0250jlfhCPwJrA7LTwmggol-s7y4hCr_7Xycb91-0Ah3W/s400/16-March-10-Sending.jpg" width="358" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used the Life is Beautiful Butterfly to complete the challenge. I stamped the stamp with Hibiscus Burst Ink and then sponged Sweet Blush Ink on the edges and Raspberry Fizz Ink on the center of the butterfly. I also used the technique on the leaves with a little Vintage Jadeite Ink sponged with some Hawaiian Shores Ink. So fun. I used Color Pop Florals and Painted Petals stamp sets in addition to the Life Is Beautiful Butterflies. So many fun stamps are included in these sets and when you pair them up with pretty inks, it totally makes my heart happy!!!</div>

I really had a hard time with this challenge. I didn't have any rubber cement, but I did have some zip dry and it worked perfectly! I used PTI Ink Refills with a little water for watercolors and then die cut the finished product the the What the Doidle Butterfly Die. I used an assortment of stamps and a brand new Papertrey Ink Stencil for this project. I am just loving all the new goodies from PTI! They really knocked their Anniversary Release out of the park!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used brand new PTI sets Tulip Time and Paper Clippings. I am loving both of these sets. They will be the first sets I pick up this time of the year when I am dying for spring!! I used an old floral shaped card template as the pink plate in the challenge photo grabbed my eye. I added die cuts from both sets and a butterfly that was inspired by the photo. I do have to say that I absolutely love the font in the sentiment from Tulip Time!! So fun and just my style!!</div>

Happy Saturday dear friends!! Saturday is a perfect day for Craft Therapy and I decided to participate in the PTI Make it Monday challenge!! Making cards has been so therapeutic as I have been putting in a lot of time at work. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful hobby that gives me so much joy!! Here's the challenge:</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Happy Valentine's Day dear friends!! I 'm so excited that I was able to get a couple of cards done for the Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenge and share them with you!! Here's the first challenge:</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center;">
<a class="asset-img-link" href="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c64e753ef01b7c74560b7970b-pi" style="color: #5f6161; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;"><img alt="The-challenge" class="asset asset-image at-xid-6a00d8341c64e753ef01b7c74560b7970b img-responsive" src="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c64e753ef01b7c74560b7970b-450wi" style="border: 0px;" title="The-challenge" /></a></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center;">
In honor of Betsy's new Dress Up Dolls, go through your closet or explore a favorite clothing store online and select a piece of clothing or outfit to use as inspiration for a project. Whether you select something simple or a bit more complex, this is sure to be a fun one! Be sure to share a photo of your inspiration somewhere in your blog post too!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: left;">
And here's my take on the challenge:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdQfm-JuOvz-KKHdZ0moblgh7dQBlS63Oa_p2FjGgaXU1YRhQggF7V27_xKTjIbRA7z9aJgqEDo5FCVwr19DLjG1KSJPfJrkC6DWzTyoyxxTto85uYLKBZlS6r7ELO4ArVthm3Ew0WHOEG/s1600/16-Feb-6-Happy-Birthday.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdQfm-JuOvz-KKHdZ0moblgh7dQBlS63Oa_p2FjGgaXU1YRhQggF7V27_xKTjIbRA7z9aJgqEDo5FCVwr19DLjG1KSJPfJrkC6DWzTyoyxxTto85uYLKBZlS6r7ELO4ArVthm3Ew0WHOEG/s400/16-Feb-6-Happy-Birthday.jpg" width="336" /></a></div>
My sweet daughter Heidi's birthday was this week and I created a birthday card based on her love of gold accents. She is planning a destination wedding in Mexico and at a recent Bridal Affair we saw a beautiful pink dress with gold accents and the inspiration for this card was born.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/1b/6d/67/1b6d674b71beb396d84703bc8f84fd84.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img alt="Sparkly Gold + Pink. Yes, please!: " border="0" height="200" src="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/1b/6d/67/1b6d674b71beb396d84703bc8f84fd84.jpg" width="133" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I added a Lovely Lady diagonal striped background and die cut the sentiment. The gold accents totally make me smile!! They will always make me think of my sweet Heidi girl!! I had some fun water coloring an ombre background with Hibiscus Pink Ink and die cut a Papertrey Ink Primitive heart as the focal point. I layered the heart on a while and gold heart and then I used the florals from the Fresh Floral Wrap as accents and added a few layered butterflies. Such a fun and happy birthday card!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiudodKBb64L3goYB5vFp27FYZkkCgaIiwqUttskSwgmTvjSCKQaGg62RG5ENQIdqp2QFRLewZ3k6PERJiURmwx6QMDActGXHntJbzIi3_FEn1Ji_iOA7Q9FWCfGJEoTvOD4FZctYmUFZHx/s1600/16-Feb-6-Happy-Birthdaycu.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="303" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiudodKBb64L3goYB5vFp27FYZkkCgaIiwqUttskSwgmTvjSCKQaGg62RG5ENQIdqp2QFRLewZ3k6PERJiURmwx6QMDActGXHntJbzIi3_FEn1Ji_iOA7Q9FWCfGJEoTvOD4FZctYmUFZHx/s400/16-Feb-6-Happy-Birthdaycu.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
and the next challenge I had fun with was:</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center;">
<a class="asset-img-link" href="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c64e753ef01b7c74560b7970b-pi" style="color: #5f6161; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;"><img alt="The-challenge" class="asset asset-image at-xid-6a00d8341c64e753ef01b7c74560b7970b img-responsive" src="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c64e753ef01b7c74560b7970b-450wi" style="border: 0px;" title="The-challenge" /></a></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center;">
We've put a little something fun together for you today in honor of the last day of our anniversary countdown! We present the Paper Crafting Alphabet Challenge! Use anywhere from the first three to ALL of the letters in your first or last name. Write the letters in a single column on a piece of scratch paper and then use the chart below as a reference for each of those letters, making notes about what you need to incorporate into your project. If you have a "double" letter, skip the duplicate letter and move onto the next letter in your name. Use your first or last name, depending on which one has a more interesting array of letters. If you want to keep things simple, just use the first three letters of your name, if you want something more complex and challenging use all of the letters in your name! And most importantly, have fun!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: left;">
I had a lot of fun with this challegne!! I used my last name:</div>
L - Lean my sentiment at an angle<br />
<div>
O - Incorporate some kind of ombre - I used ink on my background panel to create the ombre effect</div>
<div>
C - Use at least 5 colors - Kraft, Sweet Blush, Cream, Spring Moss, Autumn Rose and Cream</div>
<div>
K- Use Kraft Cardstock</div>
<div>
A - Add a border - I layered a cream panel on top of my kraft cardstock to create the border effect</div>
<div>
R - Round all or some of your corners</div>
<div>
T - Tie on some twine<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw2OkpcMKRyZLHCyzczSrQlZd4b5AXh_J0dog_jnQoaTKrMn9PzQXq7ZllEC5jcKb0_LrRjoXc1dnjCszTbXvZc35Z1mbpQ5l01ClUJ203OuNbEeIpbmcLZ-Y2NuY1rSpsU3E3uuJSwDdj/s1600/16-Feb-14-Celebrate.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw2OkpcMKRyZLHCyzczSrQlZd4b5AXh_J0dog_jnQoaTKrMn9PzQXq7ZllEC5jcKb0_LrRjoXc1dnjCszTbXvZc35Z1mbpQ5l01ClUJ203OuNbEeIpbmcLZ-Y2NuY1rSpsU3E3uuJSwDdj/s400/16-Feb-14-Celebrate.jpg" width="331" /></a></div>
It was a great challenge and it gave me an excuse to break open my Bold Blossom Stamp set and dies!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: left;">
Good evening dear friends!! I'm so excited that I was able to get home early enough tonight to participate in one of the Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenges!! I can't tell you how good it feels to get a little crafty during this busy work season!! I see a little light at the end of the tunnel, but still have a lot to do!! I will try to get in as much crafty time as possible!! Here is the challenge:</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center;">
<a class="asset-img-link" href="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c64e753ef01b7c74560b7970b-pi" style="color: #5f6161; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;"><img alt="The-challenge" class="asset asset-image at-xid-6a00d8341c64e753ef01b7c74560b7970b img-responsive" src="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c64e753ef01b7c74560b7970b-450wi" style="border: 0px;" title="The-challenge" /></a></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center;">
Since we introduced the return of the Grab Bag today, we thought it would be fun to do a "Grab & Craft" challenge! So, set a timer for 5 minutes and *grab* supplies for your project. Don't think about it too much, just grab what inspires you! But don't grab too much! You need to utilize <em>everything</em> you grab to create a project!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: left;">
And here's my take on the challenge:</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8f2nW07nlpal0d3B7ovoX-b5qCZBY09dSpVmCbcAllPdbalUe5Vb7VikaJDerYR8EBqk0R76pL6KF7g5fB1n13dGNgBxudIi7y2gt-Y3t5FlPOxt2hzwdKm6fteA3dcZ4vFE4mDgBT-mU/s1600/16-Feb-9-Happy-Birthdaya.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8f2nW07nlpal0d3B7ovoX-b5qCZBY09dSpVmCbcAllPdbalUe5Vb7VikaJDerYR8EBqk0R76pL6KF7g5fB1n13dGNgBxudIi7y2gt-Y3t5FlPOxt2hzwdKm6fteA3dcZ4vFE4mDgBT-mU/s400/16-Feb-9-Happy-Birthdaya.jpg" width="335" /></a></div>
I tell you what, this was a hard challenge for me!! I thought it might be a good time to make a male themed card since it was a quick grab and go challenge and I am pretty happy with the results!! I grabbed my favorite PTI Happy die, a PTI Wreath For All Seasons birthday stamp, a wooden arrow, a black marker and ink pad along with a PTI banner die. I also grabbed some Stamper's Select White paper and PTI black cardstock and patterned paper. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqqqshCWd23aNfivX5h5R8wN8sJLAiol18NTgOB_owZWGaaQyhWTYe_N1LjtaPXVqM18fhasnfIhdeg6tXWeU1HTTRTh4W_nQo8YTCiUJKOLAChCBFbDGPbb9ngHyOl_UmDhPeHgyzdzxD/s1600/16-Feb-9-Happy-Birthdayb.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="174" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqqqshCWd23aNfivX5h5R8wN8sJLAiol18NTgOB_owZWGaaQyhWTYe_N1LjtaPXVqM18fhasnfIhdeg6tXWeU1HTTRTh4W_nQo8YTCiUJKOLAChCBFbDGPbb9ngHyOl_UmDhPeHgyzdzxD/s320/16-Feb-9-Happy-Birthdayb.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I die cut the "happy" out of black cardstock and the banner twice out of Stamper's Select Cardstock. Then I die cut a 2 inch strip of patterned paper and glued it to the top of a white panel. I stamped "birthday" right under the patterned strip and then I layered the two banner die cuts and adhered them to the patterned strip. I colored the wooden arrow with the black marker and adhered it to the white panel and attached the happy to the top of the banner. I layered the embellished white panel on top of a black card base and voila, 5 minutes later my card was finished!! It will be perfect for my dad whose birthday is in two weeks!! Thanks PTI for the inspiration!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Thanks for stopping by!! See you at the next challenge!!</div>

Good morning dear friends!! I'm starting the year off with a crafty focus!! I've been enjoying my new stamps and watercolor paper from PTI and it feels so good to be active in my craft room again!! I decided to get in on the fun with Papertrey Ink's first blog hop of the year!! Here's the challenge:<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="January inspiration" src="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c64e753ef01b7c8086cfd970b-450wi" height="320" width="213" /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
and here's my take on the challenge:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioemYbDoq8XlJwe3AfOHem2-dg-sLXZUGncSAKHsjwsf6UF9vy3Wa7GCLLUnbAhrUBRYL3iwZK1CUid1RdLDDsmQqKZJlY2k9EYnOhOJGiagtTQOoZif1pT6cmiGEWqQULuL1FxV8s73jg/s1600/16-Jan-25-Congratulations-.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioemYbDoq8XlJwe3AfOHem2-dg-sLXZUGncSAKHsjwsf6UF9vy3Wa7GCLLUnbAhrUBRYL3iwZK1CUid1RdLDDsmQqKZJlY2k9EYnOhOJGiagtTQOoZif1pT6cmiGEWqQULuL1FxV8s73jg/s400/16-Jan-25-Congratulations-.jpg" width="368" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used the turquoise color as the base of my card and drew in some of the dark colors to add depth. I added the pretty little flower accent to bring in a light pop of orange. For the base I used a sheet of polka dot patterned paper from an old Crate Paper line called open book. I inked the polka dot paper with Aqua Mist ink and layered it over an Aqua Mist card base. I then colored the blossom in the Bold Blossom Water Color sheet with Copic Markers and I also colored the little flower with a Copic Marker as well.</div>

Hi there dear friends!! I have a fun card inspired by <a href="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2015/04/make-it-monday-208-ombre-stamping.html">Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday.</a> Laurie Willison shared this week's Ombre Stamping challenge and you can find it <a href="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2015/04/make-it-monday-208-ombre-stamping.html">here</a>. This card was also inspired by <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/31022338@N06/16646203772">this</a> card by Audrey Tokach who is one of my favorite card makers!! Thanks Audrey for your inspiration!!!<br />
Here's my take on the challenge:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxw1z46X7Ujs3_2nwlqZuvDc05EQU86G8jznhhRnHBDcvn4HiWcrzABj3a4ARk9mJVJKJM0KT5O_OpLZ7GvBNFI-TeFGpTzyyAj_9PCt7D76kwf0xIieCHluzNjqvnM1XA0kB839Ub0SuT/s1600/15-April-8-Congrats.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxw1z46X7Ujs3_2nwlqZuvDc05EQU86G8jznhhRnHBDcvn4HiWcrzABj3a4ARk9mJVJKJM0KT5O_OpLZ7GvBNFI-TeFGpTzyyAj_9PCt7D76kwf0xIieCHluzNjqvnM1XA0kB839Ub0SuT/s1600/15-April-8-Congrats.jpg" height="400" width="338" /></a></div>
I used PTI's Baby Button Bits and Fly Away Stamp sets along with some PTI Cloud dies for this card. For the Ombre Technique, I used Spring Rain, Blueberry Skies, and Enchanted Evening inks. Love, love, love the ombre effect!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZqPSHZUEq7AQt4F6Mw_YhKn3Sr683C8AjYQ3xaf8BLp6u2qMfxxxdFRXSaVUSgCnEQZY94JSmqh4nNeuPhEFkKUDsLc6Z0fxDV6t9Yq7HHGvNyHzhE4eRtifFAqpJihCcKRMBvYqdJjge/s1600/2015-April-18-Congrats-cu.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZqPSHZUEq7AQt4F6Mw_YhKn3Sr683C8AjYQ3xaf8BLp6u2qMfxxxdFRXSaVUSgCnEQZY94JSmqh4nNeuPhEFkKUDsLc6Z0fxDV6t9Yq7HHGvNyHzhE4eRtifFAqpJihCcKRMBvYqdJjge/s1600/2015-April-18-Congrats-cu.jpg" height="295" width="320" /></a></div>
The sunburst and stitched circles are Simon Says Stamp dies. I layered the scene on top of Blueberry Sky patterned paper. I love the more masculine card that will be perfect for a Man Shower my hubby has at work tomorrow. My hubby was happy with the design and of course I was blessed with some much needed crafty time. It's a win-win situation for us both!!<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping in and I wish you a very happy end of the week!!<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
Happy Sunday dear friends!! I hope you have enjoyed your weekend!! I haven't been feeling too well lately, but I was able to take some time to spend time with my kids, Spending time with family definitely makes this mom happy and helps to heal what ails you!! I was able to spend some time today working on <a href="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2015/03/make-it-monday-206-stamping-and-mixing-patterns.html">Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday Challenge #206 - Stamping and Mixing Paper</a>. Danielle Flanders shares with us how to create and mix patterned papers. She is amazing!! Here's the challenge:</div>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: x-small; line-height: 26px; text-align: center;">--Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and </span><strong style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; text-align: center;"><em>at least three s<strong>t</strong>amped patterns.</em></strong></blockquote>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
Here's my take on the challenge:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHtReivQBU-Rds5CflIpyHmfYqjxVaMQOuLLIixwCCDGkku9XNdB-p9NOPQBfAFYRAlWxT6JhDZzGY3lDaseWdBi22MZqRX_VyRxWbxk2X_yvi6pMiawodm8ffM2Oheb9gzvMNVBVXSo8i/s1600/2015-March-29-Always.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHtReivQBU-Rds5CflIpyHmfYqjxVaMQOuLLIixwCCDGkku9XNdB-p9NOPQBfAFYRAlWxT6JhDZzGY3lDaseWdBi22MZqRX_VyRxWbxk2X_yvi6pMiawodm8ffM2Oheb9gzvMNVBVXSo8i/s1600/2015-March-29-Always.jpg" height="400" width="360" /></a></div>
I used this photo as inspiration to create my patterned papers:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/ac/ef/57/acef573a416b7989d27471c39d604acf.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Dyptique + Jonathan Adler" border="0" height="400" src="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/ac/ef/57/acef573a416b7989d27471c39d604acf.jpg" width="265" /></a></div>
These are the papers I created:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfac64jfwDGUKNeXWFm7biuHj2aqRb06EfPtOb6BZzbqJV6iRqDmvKDLkbJAnxIfg-TtNtKPxrF85ugc_6pTlDyLmmvXx7qB-eTM7KbTAqKP3XqHIESYICXDyphw_F0YFGVOyLPm9_lVAE/s1600/2015-March-29-Always-papers.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfac64jfwDGUKNeXWFm7biuHj2aqRb06EfPtOb6BZzbqJV6iRqDmvKDLkbJAnxIfg-TtNtKPxrF85ugc_6pTlDyLmmvXx7qB-eTM7KbTAqKP3XqHIESYICXDyphw_F0YFGVOyLPm9_lVAE/s1600/2015-March-29-Always-papers.jpg" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
I used Background Basics: Super Stripes and black ink for the first pattern. I used a Tim Holtz Stamp and black ink for the second pattern. To create the third pattern I used The Sweet Life stamps and stamped them Sweet Blush Ink on Sweet Blush paper. The next pattern was created by stamping leaves from Garden Grace on Simply Chartreuse paper using Versamark Ink. I love those little leaves. The final pattern was embossed with gold embossing powder using the Crackled stamp. I love all of these patterns and colors! So Shabby and very chic!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFHmCIHQQRyA_1m60oXOAQQIfD-EXUGzLkppymaSWoW77lNkCQt4_gxnNNxR7BUsejIaNVPlrY-ZQOOXi1oXW1z_iUAS1InG3Gsx6OeYfybSUPHCUchouXsbKHOLegw4bB5gmBjE2CNgmI/s1600/2015-March-29-Always-cu.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFHmCIHQQRyA_1m60oXOAQQIfD-EXUGzLkppymaSWoW77lNkCQt4_gxnNNxR7BUsejIaNVPlrY-ZQOOXi1oXW1z_iUAS1InG3Gsx6OeYfybSUPHCUchouXsbKHOLegw4bB5gmBjE2CNgmI/s1600/2015-March-29-Always-cu.jpg" height="307" width="400" /></a></div>
I used the You've Been Framed: Oval Die and cut out the various patterns and layered them all on a Smokey Shadow card base. The florals and dies cuts are stamped using Sweet Blush and Simply Chartreuse Ink. The sentiment from Brushed Blooms was stamped in Black and Soft Stone. I added a Hug Snug Seam Binding bow, a strip of striped patterned paper, a strip of gold paper and a little scalloped strip as the final touches. Such a fun card!! I love all these new stamps and dies from Papertrey Ink!!! <br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous week!!!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hi there dear friends! It's Sunday night and I finally finished my <a href="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2015/03/make-it-monday-204-smooshing-with-watercolors.html">Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge</a> - Watercolor Smooshing. Here's my take on the Challenge:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZGlKJuxheCzL1sQfp6Xmg-Rc2bQaeAm91XtVJbWsyxzQoj0usyvIurCfaRW4BvSocKZlTxnuGyGjIjhUA-b9g4elI4jjAM5fnUnuHLyeLhxQGlBg1C31jqUDoabcnfAqajTJac5I4uNYP/s1600/2015-March-15-Banner-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZGlKJuxheCzL1sQfp6Xmg-Rc2bQaeAm91XtVJbWsyxzQoj0usyvIurCfaRW4BvSocKZlTxnuGyGjIjhUA-b9g4elI4jjAM5fnUnuHLyeLhxQGlBg1C31jqUDoabcnfAqajTJac5I4uNYP/s1600/2015-March-15-Banner-2.jpg" height="200" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used Hibiscus Burst and Summer Sunrise Ink for the smooshing and I used a punch to punch out my butterflies from the smooshed paper. What a fun technique and if you've never smooshed before check out <a href="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2015/03/make-it-monday-204-smooshing-with-watercolors.html">Betsy's video</a> for more!</div>

I used some PTI Banner Dies and printable paper from <a href="http://melstampz.blogspot.com/2012/06/3-new-free-paper-sets-subtle-stripe.html">Melstampz</a> to create the banner. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
I die cut the PTI Block Alphas from PTI Silver Cardstock and Double Sided Foam Adhesive sheets and layered them onto PTI a Doily Details Die.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw0MHtjEs0E8vSgTQSNy9Fgaw0QmfCVOUbMz8ZahtkqKWQGrosixYUyLFx3SifcWLgQpR4zNmg0HAJXz-XTQa6RqH-PUvdhcVhn0Gg6FOvR01lceb7oNtydVPCb7V9sPtf2hcQTOOnEkwf/s1600/2015-March-15-Banner7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw0MHtjEs0E8vSgTQSNy9Fgaw0QmfCVOUbMz8ZahtkqKWQGrosixYUyLFx3SifcWLgQpR4zNmg0HAJXz-XTQa6RqH-PUvdhcVhn0Gg6FOvR01lceb7oNtydVPCb7V9sPtf2hcQTOOnEkwf/s1600/2015-March-15-Banner7.jpg" height="400" width="295" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The florals were stamped using PTI Bitty Bouquet stamps and Dies. These florals are my new favorite stamps and dies!! They are absolutely beautiful!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhncsFNx4vkQgjg8II49xe7kBW4GtteDyfFYf2ymFBGZuN_4PR-enhbttr5Ld-CqwWUVrbR4N8NyZXOPRun-nljo7KXwyTZDqd_QIibCNbB2XQflF_ahaiPQcckRiOLkZbHaIvAJdoIzS5i/s1600/2015-March--Banner-4a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhncsFNx4vkQgjg8II49xe7kBW4GtteDyfFYf2ymFBGZuN_4PR-enhbttr5Ld-CqwWUVrbR4N8NyZXOPRun-nljo7KXwyTZDqd_QIibCNbB2XQflF_ahaiPQcckRiOLkZbHaIvAJdoIzS5i/s1600/2015-March--Banner-4a.jpg" height="400" width="313" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiw-7n_L15k6TkC_eV0My0yhEss8sECz50NFZoacyRY_RBBKPIvDo6Q0ekn86bn7ehNYaC4D4R3Jb97h31dhsQiOjn4zl61gYbtE3GKWTHXrOmF3OcGiBtrS-j7MlT1kpGrAe_XwpUhPcm/s1600/2015-March-15-4+-+Copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiw-7n_L15k6TkC_eV0My0yhEss8sECz50NFZoacyRY_RBBKPIvDo6Q0ekn86bn7ehNYaC4D4R3Jb97h31dhsQiOjn4zl61gYbtE3GKWTHXrOmF3OcGiBtrS-j7MlT1kpGrAe_XwpUhPcm/s1600/2015-March-15-4+-+Copy.jpg" height="400" width="285" /></a></div>
I added some little antennae to the butterflies using black cardstock and PTI Be Happy Dies. I also added some rainstones to the butterflies for fun.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0pyw1ejhDbpIybiSyIJdqBRJT7JHCcsadsHcAjt1wYBHZP1rLyFPmcu_UBXHXA4U48wL1abIh4q2R2sgGXk-EIAGMY0CS0-eY0mR4Vl7Giw8qhQcwLWnVcoZrHsW5Qpm4XQMLfiLr_21W/s1600/2015-March-15-Banner-4c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0pyw1ejhDbpIybiSyIJdqBRJT7JHCcsadsHcAjt1wYBHZP1rLyFPmcu_UBXHXA4U48wL1abIh4q2R2sgGXk-EIAGMY0CS0-eY0mR4Vl7Giw8qhQcwLWnVcoZrHsW5Qpm4XQMLfiLr_21W/s1600/2015-March-15-Banner-4c.jpg" height="400" width="316" /></a></div>
I tied the banners together using white Hug Snug Ribbon.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDTYTIkW5rxIZ2KE-8LqseGRzkyYeOWJmmlT655HVTCxRpkSrkCEGnRn57yfrV8FMOVJKF0XfuLSm1Y278YutvZ_wObprRCJ2Sr8GiJbVtQ8M3Gj_Z8OxkKXtdfMY8t2QN9f0tmZdvZ6-7/s1600/2015-March-15-5+-+Copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDTYTIkW5rxIZ2KE-8LqseGRzkyYeOWJmmlT655HVTCxRpkSrkCEGnRn57yfrV8FMOVJKF0XfuLSm1Y278YutvZ_wObprRCJ2Sr8GiJbVtQ8M3Gj_Z8OxkKXtdfMY8t2QN9f0tmZdvZ6-7/s1600/2015-March-15-5+-+Copy.jpg" height="400" width="268" /></a></div>

Happy Friday!!! I have a fun and easy little card to share with you this evening using <a href="http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-special-ladygirly-challenge/">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Girly or Feminine</a>. My sweet girlie has a baby shower to go to for a friend who is having twins. I wanted a quick and easy card so I could take it to her tomorrow morning before we go on a hike. I chose <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLxGGvRHXP-bb9dsZb3ryVpRyyHiUye-UKp3dGDppP97BXEl8MwQiCBselLxXCRq9En5r6IvyUY9i0zb2lhxwKF_HuN9sP_7w3b2T4A8aHFYbeoVJf2vQ0k2hOGZcSewa7j18U0bqb0K4v/s1600/DSC_0434E.jpg">this</a> card by Maile Belles as my inspiration for today's card using Papertrey Ink's Swoosh Stamps and Dies.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgATw2TFUXSHW9f9QAVxU-eosx3_XrVI-D4A_EZNdcFP0xweG1CEiUwhBL-qrpaZF5DoQxMXK1OW-xNwmdeil9hsptjwfrAWnI1Kk-Ofo07b5VXKgOwKn6JVzC1Bccr1E87VRef845n0q4v/s1600/2015-March-6-Congrats.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgATw2TFUXSHW9f9QAVxU-eosx3_XrVI-D4A_EZNdcFP0xweG1CEiUwhBL-qrpaZF5DoQxMXK1OW-xNwmdeil9hsptjwfrAWnI1Kk-Ofo07b5VXKgOwKn6JVzC1Bccr1E87VRef845n0q4v/s1600/2015-March-6-Congrats.jpg" height="400" width="331" /></a></div>
I die cut the patterned paper with the Swoosh die and stamped the Swoosh sentiment onto my card base with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I stamped the babies onto white cardstock and then I fussy cut them out. I stamped the blankets with PTI Hibiscus Burst and Spring Rain ink. I added a little seam binding bow with a pearl to add a sweet little touch. The paper is from Betsy Veldman's Beautiful Brushstrokes Make It Market kit.<br />

I added some stamped banners and a die cut sentiment. I die cut the rolled rose and added a pearl and leaf embellishment to complete the card.</div>

<span style="color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 26px;">and here's my take on the Challenge:</span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7uA5KVcbF2M8p9S2Y1wfXOk2-6WJmqpYKltKE4oxiC38I2egKm8pm_9W4zm8hbUxT02uBPybh0QJLVWHm-xrYhnv7Sotb_8oxVDZDzMiqzVX4ZXQEotKByC0nRS3XY_cMLYC99cZI6ftR/s1600/2015-Feb-22-Delightintheda.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7uA5KVcbF2M8p9S2Y1wfXOk2-6WJmqpYKltKE4oxiC38I2egKm8pm_9W4zm8hbUxT02uBPybh0QJLVWHm-xrYhnv7Sotb_8oxVDZDzMiqzVX4ZXQEotKByC0nRS3XY_cMLYC99cZI6ftR/s1600/2015-Feb-22-Delightintheda.jpg" height="400" width="335" /></a></div>
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #666666;">I used Betsy Veldman's Beautiful Brushstrokes stamp set and the Chevron Cover Plate for this challenge. I started by die cutting the Chevron Cover Plate and then adhered the die cut to the white card panel with some Washi Tape. I spread some Teresa Collins Essential Modeling Paste onto the panel with a spatula tool and let it dry. Love the dimension it creates!! I then die cut and stamped the florals with black ink. I then stamped a light base on the florals and then added some watercolor contrast. Love, love, love these florals!!</span></h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfNYaDD4GS3iQgERclkduLprQdr-DWMGqOU4Vp-ZjAqFpTghu1JPpAfMcGRh3E83z1dbxzU00Om5u1qquz_DL1rHNZOXwu0Bb3tGjNTf1bPcEa-zZ2hXJrFQ8SgZGILeQuekeY7VzWH0Pl/s1600/2015-Feb-22-Delightintheday.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfNYaDD4GS3iQgERclkduLprQdr-DWMGqOU4Vp-ZjAqFpTghu1JPpAfMcGRh3E83z1dbxzU00Om5u1qquz_DL1rHNZOXwu0Bb3tGjNTf1bPcEa-zZ2hXJrFQ8SgZGILeQuekeY7VzWH0Pl/s1600/2015-Feb-22-Delightintheday.jpg" height="290" width="320" /></a></div>
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #666666;">I added some rub ons to add a little more black contrast and then mounted the panel onto a Hibiscus Burst Card base. I plan on adding a bible verse to the inside for a card to send a bright ray of sunshine to a friend who needs a little encouragment in her day.</span></h4>

<div style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: left;">
Hi everyone!! Whooo hooo! It's hard to believe it, but I am back once again with a project for the Papertrey Ink 8th Anniversary Challenge!! I can't even say how much I have missed crafting so this challenge is absolutely just what the doctor ordered!!! Here's the challenge:</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center;">
I think it is safe to say that we ALL admire Maile and her incredible sense of style! Take a few moments and peruse through <a href="http://mailebelles.blogspot.com/" style="color: #5f6161; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">her blog</a> to explore all of the amazing projects she has made over the years. Select a project that you find particularly inspiring and make your own project using elements from her card.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #817f7f; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 10px; text-align: left;">
Maile is so amazing and has so many amazing designs to choose from, it was hard to pick just one. After much searching and deliberation, I chose <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpmnlTf5uP4kRAu43OYV_dHYeXodaHuBJiqu5rU3qMVLw6pn4EzC1RItitdBtKCgrvHbK22IuuUEj6Jf2k_F2xQ6c52f7SnuH8M5IMULUShX6MReC179MMF1IgFRzKd-QlCrYBbSI05-bi/s1600/DSC_0121E.jpg">this</a> card of Maile's for my inspiration and here's my take on the challenge:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPvuhGBNDWlBTv7T827BwDNutAeqzrFYkR5oEKTSrPEvFidbGd4YzZYbtA0QfYowwI-sETxpB9-w5AdSNaYc_nj2AjAGXcMJSgONNdz1OB24L5KPaQXsFSH6ipMQuExZQg8ZgDeWSuHB79/s1600/2015-Feb-13-Happy-Birthday.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPvuhGBNDWlBTv7T827BwDNutAeqzrFYkR5oEKTSrPEvFidbGd4YzZYbtA0QfYowwI-sETxpB9-w5AdSNaYc_nj2AjAGXcMJSgONNdz1OB24L5KPaQXsFSH6ipMQuExZQg8ZgDeWSuHB79/s1600/2015-Feb-13-Happy-Birthday.jpg" height="400" width="337" /></a></div>
I used a black card base and layered a white panel on top. I cut several happy's out of Tinsel and Tags patterned paper along with a stamped birthday banner. I added a fun little arrow from the Phrase Play #3 die to complete the design.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTZO6BnC-YeWbg9ujcJKhyphenhyphenEHUBJmwxxjBxv0VFvWU6mBbykh30_Fh_QYZ1XOcNhvWIUMnbmdQ5N_bkVDSTDZ-NzzJnTiNkmwVri_b115UK6WkigC5kPrZX1vkAlK-ja4Ir95iD0OjlRyQx/s1600/2015-Feb-12-Happy-Birthday.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTZO6BnC-YeWbg9ujcJKhyphenhyphenEHUBJmwxxjBxv0VFvWU6mBbykh30_Fh_QYZ1XOcNhvWIUMnbmdQ5N_bkVDSTDZ-NzzJnTiNkmwVri_b115UK6WkigC5kPrZX1vkAlK-ja4Ir95iD0OjlRyQx/s1600/2015-Feb-12-Happy-Birthday.jpg" height="400" width="375" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I stamped the pattern with one of my old favorites, PTI's Polka Dot Basics in Aqua Mist Ink that I misted with a spritz of water. I was going for a bit of a watercolor look with this card. I inked up the Rosie Posie florals and spritzed each one with a squirt of water and stamped them onto a watercolor paper panel. I used Summer Sunrise, Berry Sorbet, Ripe Avocado, and Spring Moss. I totally love the watercolor feel of the stamped images!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnJD3sG1C9dBfL_UMRCk7H0kdJeMjHmCHThHZNA-bEWxSK-dT3k5RORw_Nuq-14clZPL12AINywY6HxUrOKSofSD9I3ivIzoP1SUb6U82YHHTObohTjtFP8nhnCsedU2e-iQnc2jOK0zUc/s1600/2015-Feb-12-Happy-Birthday-.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnJD3sG1C9dBfL_UMRCk7H0kdJeMjHmCHThHZNA-bEWxSK-dT3k5RORw_Nuq-14clZPL12AINywY6HxUrOKSofSD9I3ivIzoP1SUb6U82YHHTObohTjtFP8nhnCsedU2e-iQnc2jOK0zUc/s1600/2015-Feb-12-Happy-Birthday-.jpg" height="400" width="323" /></a></div>
I die cut the Wet Paint sentiment and stamped the birthday image. I layered the watercolor panel on top of a Aqua Mist card base.<br />
<br />
Very quick and simple and I am loving the color combination!!!<br />
Thanks for stopping by!!!<br />
Have a wonderful evening!!<br />

Good Morning Dear friends and Happy December!! It's my favorite time of the year and that means it's time to share my version of The Twelve Days of Christmas with you once again! Today's project is a fast and cute little party invitation. My invitation is for a baby shower, but you can use this idea for any type of party you may have during the holidays. I really got out of my box with this baby shower invitation, but why not, it's the holidays and anything goes!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrKk_QwOo7Ui5Gy9FLZKhPFtUELhtStuSqXWbCKdtn3FdEHosBQV2hyu5fW-PmlwCrdUPgsQJPPDc2IDhkA-B1iK-hPTSH5rVEhOzyQFEp4JjowBKkf90LCcJ4RkLPovGmQHHYV6TFimrP/s1600/14-Dec-1-Baby-Shower.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrKk_QwOo7Ui5Gy9FLZKhPFtUELhtStuSqXWbCKdtn3FdEHosBQV2hyu5fW-PmlwCrdUPgsQJPPDc2IDhkA-B1iK-hPTSH5rVEhOzyQFEp4JjowBKkf90LCcJ4RkLPovGmQHHYV6TFimrP/s1600/14-Dec-1-Baby-Shower.jpg" height="382" width="400" /></a></div>
Instructions:<br />
1. Cut a card base. I used Papertrey Ink's Card Base-ics #1 die and Pure Poppy Cardstock. This die is my favorite for invitations!!<br />
2. Design your invitation. I used the popular chalkboard background for this invitation. I think it will be a lot of fun to carry on the chalkboard theme into the party decorations as well.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWBLTcoMhHtpcBhHcy2fzrDpFtzMYt5lD6Yrijv5lYKIloTv3oCT-8pAhXf31A0zMugy1xNGXYcbcqlYMXnjCF-fGF-Rm9m5M6dS1BZn9JlteBzsU_3JHg-kQoPKtR_9SM_YidQIKVtKKH/s1600/Chalkboard-background.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWBLTcoMhHtpcBhHcy2fzrDpFtzMYt5lD6Yrijv5lYKIloTv3oCT-8pAhXf31A0zMugy1xNGXYcbcqlYMXnjCF-fGF-Rm9m5M6dS1BZn9JlteBzsU_3JHg-kQoPKtR_9SM_YidQIKVtKKH/s1600/Chalkboard-background.jpg" height="320" width="256" /></a></div>
Click onto the image and save to your computer. Embellish and print as desired. The fonts I used for this card were Branboll, Connie and WW Flakes which were all downloaded free of charge from DaFont.<br />
3. Trim your printed panel and layer it onto a slightly larger white cardstock panel and then onto a printed cardstock panel. I just love the diagonal stripes used on this invitation.<br />
4. Embellish as desired. I added a pretty little snowflake, arrow and red jewel. <br />
<br />
Such a quick and easy way to invite your guests. I challenge you to get out of your box and create something different and fun for the holidays!!<br />
<br />
Thank you for joining me once again for The Twelve Days of Chistmas!!<br />
Have a wonderful day,<br />

Hi everyone!! I'm back!! Whooo hooo!! I can't even tell you how good it felt to get a little crafty this weekend!! I wanted to make a card for a friend and this week's <a href="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2014/10/make-it-monday-186-partial-die-stamping.html">Papertrey Ink MIM Challenge</a> was the perfect inspiration to get my rusty self back in gear! I used Papertrey Ink's Autumn Adornments to get myself started.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtwCI2z8dqjfioqsqgda1cRrg6Khk60ur8HBI7TOppwDqhjYrzSP0Y1_fvLQk8ixVmCF0UXD_5d_3FEa7oK935chYDoV_SXx4oWJwng2rJiqW5UB3D9ZZD5N-glhcltGsm6y9moPP9LP_x/s1600/14-Nov-2-Thinking-of-You.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtwCI2z8dqjfioqsqgda1cRrg6Khk60ur8HBI7TOppwDqhjYrzSP0Y1_fvLQk8ixVmCF0UXD_5d_3FEa7oK935chYDoV_SXx4oWJwng2rJiqW5UB3D9ZZD5N-glhcltGsm6y9moPP9LP_x/s1600/14-Nov-2-Thinking-of-You.jpg" height="400" width="331" /></a></div>
I stamped some Stamper's Select White Cardstock with the Autumn Adornments vine stamp in Simply Chartreuse, Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Pure Poppy and Ripe Avocado Ink and then die cut the paper using Phrase Play #8.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVzZmE_MxFepEyTboWi3ygxdzuwE-ba9xQfNlq-IwQu1TtU34ZeqYkVtv78ePymBu35mlPDLr35HipvdwxSwtrtxdMdNk-OQ1DQti8MYenjrh6UeQvrJQkM4dKcXq3-YayzQwtszwdnaLJ/s1600/14-Nov-2-Thinking-of-you-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVzZmE_MxFepEyTboWi3ygxdzuwE-ba9xQfNlq-IwQu1TtU34ZeqYkVtv78ePymBu35mlPDLr35HipvdwxSwtrtxdMdNk-OQ1DQti8MYenjrh6UeQvrJQkM4dKcXq3-YayzQwtszwdnaLJ/s1600/14-Nov-2-Thinking-of-you-2.jpg" height="242" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used several <a href="https://www.papertreyink.com/index.php?p=home">Papertrey Ink</a> stamp sets in this card including Be Happy for the frame, Autumn Acorns, and Through the Trees for the sentiment. I also used some sequins and twine from Betsy's MIM kit Luxe Letterpress.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Thank you so much for stopping by!! I look forward to seeing what you create for the MIM Challenge!!</div>

Hi friends!! I am sorry I am behind in getting the <a href="http://cupcardstogo.typepad.com/cupcards_to_go/2014/04/may-2014-kit.html">CupCards to Go May Kit</a> posted, but life has been nothing but crazy!! In all the craziness, however, the May kit was a joy to work with and spending some time in my craft studio was just what the doctor ordered!!<br />
<br />
The Devoted kit is all about Mothers and I did have to make a fun little Mother's Day card. The papers are so beautiful and I used my favorite paper from the kit in the card below:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYDJ65OGGyT62rGETpcF4YSAiIhWK_kmxxaMT-zuSt4JIHfR-jVE1RD9Gf5qzreRoYLRnGtkyKiRCVTLSsMRgFzk2VELoAWjfKzQdBYGj7yXoHIK3wByi_BbvK4CyQe-zlivMCJ0-ZFxyz/s1600/may14amotherslove-kristii.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYDJ65OGGyT62rGETpcF4YSAiIhWK_kmxxaMT-zuSt4JIHfR-jVE1RD9Gf5qzreRoYLRnGtkyKiRCVTLSsMRgFzk2VELoAWjfKzQdBYGj7yXoHIK3wByi_BbvK4CyQe-zlivMCJ0-ZFxyz/s1600/may14amotherslove-kristii.jpg" height="400" width="345" /></a></div>
Aren't the colors delicious? I couldn't help but cut a few of the flowers out to use as embellishments. They are soooo pretty and check out that sweet little birdie!! Isn't he the cutest? This month's challenge is "For the Birds" and this little card fits perfectly. This card is also loosely based on this month's sketch.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghBOdQP1vrXpgOJeGvC7mUu0TJnsOWnI-WfZV45S_xDPK3vDJj3QtYmuK2V4Dk5M3XA16dK8JixQrdyMh4duOZP_MQ0iqrP3Rc9qP2AFuu_DXpcXEiF5RayJE8Y2K9JGTFCmdBe5zxs5U8/s1600/may14amotherslovecu-kristii.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghBOdQP1vrXpgOJeGvC7mUu0TJnsOWnI-WfZV45S_xDPK3vDJj3QtYmuK2V4Dk5M3XA16dK8JixQrdyMh4duOZP_MQ0iqrP3Rc9qP2AFuu_DXpcXEiF5RayJE8Y2K9JGTFCmdBe5zxs5U8/s1600/may14amotherslovecu-kristii.jpg" height="275" width="400" /></a></div>
There are so many things you can say about a Mother's love, but ultimately, it is the heart of the home. The stickers included in the kit worked perfectly for this card!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidulFbqgtQi8WSGcVvQTb4Ox5uz1zPnEYtrBfwY1HD-fGnocWCaims5gQiF4t-omcovaQk1GdbdJyjw_FL0TjH2ptcY8Mllez1ds3JgSCv8BOj_HG3KOmuorxZMJNK6ufqCxhRPG9V8zZq/s1600/may14amothersloveinside-kri.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidulFbqgtQi8WSGcVvQTb4Ox5uz1zPnEYtrBfwY1HD-fGnocWCaims5gQiF4t-omcovaQk1GdbdJyjw_FL0TjH2ptcY8Mllez1ds3JgSCv8BOj_HG3KOmuorxZMJNK6ufqCxhRPG9V8zZq/s1600/may14amothersloveinside-kri.jpg" height="400" width="321" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The next little set of card was made using the cute little mini cards in the kit. I die cut the cards using a little doily shape making sure the top of the card was not in the die cut area which created a sweet little shaped card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEis7GG2Ymxv18l0tdNCfwJFP7JILdtntmRIYEazv4um7XryFZ5vtnwe0xH__NH7ilKwli3fPT9hHhU3C27PobNPvk3VZhTjg2sFz1-zmUfVSD8tvXWdRd06QMnXY0gQ8tDWkQoEVZ8Hipi1/s1600/may14loveyoumomside-kristii.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEis7GG2Ymxv18l0tdNCfwJFP7JILdtntmRIYEazv4um7XryFZ5vtnwe0xH__NH7ilKwli3fPT9hHhU3C27PobNPvk3VZhTjg2sFz1-zmUfVSD8tvXWdRd06QMnXY0gQ8tDWkQoEVZ8Hipi1/s1600/may14loveyoumomside-kristii.jpg" height="380" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These little shaped cards will be perfect for a bunch of flowers or for a gift bag for mom!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIXqIHGj0GlKFPEn3b7PPTow4JeZjLv-vm9zHOm0y4jOdd-gUX2-d_uOZhj5awNoJVe6ibQReXm6poSZnOF4vo1vTPUEkxZTNBw_5etVgv0-rLBXJOGs3SvrJZLATOVORpMidj1iEMxyXw/s1600/may14justforyoumom-kristii.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIXqIHGj0GlKFPEn3b7PPTow4JeZjLv-vm9zHOm0y4jOdd-gUX2-d_uOZhj5awNoJVe6ibQReXm6poSZnOF4vo1vTPUEkxZTNBw_5etVgv0-rLBXJOGs3SvrJZLATOVORpMidj1iEMxyXw/s1600/may14justforyoumom-kristii.jpg" height="335" width="400" /></a></div>
I also decorated the envelopes to make gift giving even more special!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimogQoC6-w98fdwrqvxIW2Wxi3bYk88PntIkn2y2t-BZx_1_I-IhHgmfXrGFil47MFeP9I5661R4bJ93xN0OznCh1ElsAhpjobVSJEAbU88mBZX6ay-99F-wWXrCxdi3lIVx2rmMrncDW2/s1600/may14loveyoumom-kristii.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimogQoC6-w98fdwrqvxIW2Wxi3bYk88PntIkn2y2t-BZx_1_I-IhHgmfXrGFil47MFeP9I5661R4bJ93xN0OznCh1ElsAhpjobVSJEAbU88mBZX6ay-99F-wWXrCxdi3lIVx2rmMrncDW2/s1600/may14loveyoumom-kristii.jpg" height="295" width="400" /></a></div>
The cute little clip in the card inspired me to make a birthday card with the kit! Don't you just love that sweet little clip??<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-O4ZPm5ATSoGUmeHFX05vosDxdcuAFbgK_G-SELlYuJK5sKpgJmDqJaS0tYCWuWO3hbBWV_pfHvu4Pb4oyLH2XLOBmt5EPV_VoKJciWl3Zcr151G2AeXThipy0huJYvZmwqVJzaTtPI4s/s1600/may14birthdaygirl-kristii.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-O4ZPm5ATSoGUmeHFX05vosDxdcuAFbgK_G-SELlYuJK5sKpgJmDqJaS0tYCWuWO3hbBWV_pfHvu4Pb4oyLH2XLOBmt5EPV_VoKJciWl3Zcr151G2AeXThipy0huJYvZmwqVJzaTtPI4s/s1600/may14birthdaygirl-kristii.jpg" height="400" width="360" /></a></div>
I had a "birthday die" and I cut it out several times and layered them all together to create a nice thick embellishment. Don't you just love the texture it creates?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAcPnmgq1Wpla4jIqEhopZnmpTffxNfyDzu5VYsY9EU-Z0-NNNJs5HSjDJIv-FHyIyM2-arHi4bCb0xyObhpZt5ms0hKF6qefjdNvgJXMcVdmBklOuVlhapXNFbO9MCiKPnkgjs4yFbywb/s1600/may14birthdaygirlcu2-kristi.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAcPnmgq1Wpla4jIqEhopZnmpTffxNfyDzu5VYsY9EU-Z0-NNNJs5HSjDJIv-FHyIyM2-arHi4bCb0xyObhpZt5ms0hKF6qefjdNvgJXMcVdmBklOuVlhapXNFbO9MCiKPnkgjs4yFbywb/s1600/may14birthdaygirlcu2-kristi.jpg" height="176" width="320" /></a></div>
I cut out some of the flowers from the patterned paper to use as an embellishment and added some die cut hearts to make the card as sweet as the birthday girl is!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNZvDjUw3U1mozc3qSYcswwwUwBMTW5HA-XY8EhgAw5IGaOxEW0smWRvS8PnTME_si7Y6_FjLRZzXuoDav8E-5lXtbKK50GP2nIjndqORz7XNmyNTnJGllZECec7CJtYC3NdAyaSaOo_Y3/s1600/may14birthdaygirlcu-kristii.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNZvDjUw3U1mozc3qSYcswwwUwBMTW5HA-XY8EhgAw5IGaOxEW0smWRvS8PnTME_si7Y6_FjLRZzXuoDav8E-5lXtbKK50GP2nIjndqORz7XNmyNTnJGllZECec7CJtYC3NdAyaSaOo_Y3/s1600/may14birthdaygirlcu-kristii.jpg" height="276" width="400" /></a></div>
The next card is just a lot of layered fun!! I stamped some polka dots onto my card base and layered a panel on top using some dimensional tape. I tucked in some fussy cut elements and also a flower from the kit to add depth and visual interest.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgl8-6S4w1mM5pmshknk3HTRiTWUUzX59b-sMjF_dLL5YcJsk_N1vq5f_Rk2ExPNx5ORHJ8b5Wrlf2SMZGcT3yMDh_HgtFDtfR4ddrTfIf42ZjjqW5RO-x2B5QGeCWEtHM6F5fwjLLIf1le/s1600/may14hugs-kristii.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgl8-6S4w1mM5pmshknk3HTRiTWUUzX59b-sMjF_dLL5YcJsk_N1vq5f_Rk2ExPNx5ORHJ8b5Wrlf2SMZGcT3yMDh_HgtFDtfR4ddrTfIf42ZjjqW5RO-x2B5QGeCWEtHM6F5fwjLLIf1le/s1600/may14hugs-kristii.jpg" height="400" width="335" /></a></div>
