Jingle Bell Hop!!!

Welcome to the AC Bailey Jingle Bell Hop! With the holidays literally around the corner, the AC Bailey Design Team has decided to help Santa (and you) out this year with some fun and easy projects to help make the holiday gift season a bit easier. And just like Santa, we've also gotten some extra help this year and asked some additional elves to help out and post some of their cool projects too! And if that isn't enough help...we've also arranged for some early Black Friday sales just in case you need some products to get the projects completed.

come out and meet our Elves...check out their projects...leave a comment on their blogs and be eligible for a prize - upload some of your completed projects from any of the tutorials into the AC Bailey gallery and be eligible for another prize! Projects need to be completed and uploaded into the gallery by Tuesday, November 24th at Midnight Eastern to be eligible for a prize.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!! I have a special treat for you all…..

A visit from the Jolly Old Head Elf Himself!!!

Here is a quick and easy tutorial to make your very own Santa Ornament:

Supplies:

Patterned Paper cut in a quarter circle:

I used American Crafts Papers from AC Bailey (See the Black Friday sale at AC Bailey!!! All American Crafts are on sale!!!)

Wood Beads

Curly Doll Hair

Pom Poms

Felt

Decorative Cording or Ribbon

Markers

I used American Crafts Slick Writers also available from AC Bailey

Hot Glue Gun

Holly punch

Stickles as desired which are also available at AC Bailey

  1. Draw a face on your wooden bead with a marker. It doesn’t have to be perfect as most of the face will be covered with the Jolly Old Elf’s beard.
  1. Attach decorative cording folded in a loop to the top of the bead with hot glue. Make sure your cording is longer than the length of the Old Man’s hat with enough at the end to hang. (see picture for reference). Be sure to use your hot glue liberally so that the bond will support the bead.
  1. Roll your quarter circle into a cone and glue with hot glue. Attach to the bead with hot glue.

  1. Cut up the doll hair and attach to the bead in sections with hot glue. This is a very random process; keep adding hair until you like the results. Straighten a little piece of hair and add a little glue above his mouth and fill in his mustache. Trim beard as desired.

5. Embellish with a little felt, holly leaves and berries and a white pompom

Thanks for stopping by my blog!!! Now head on over to Jenn's blog for more Jingle Hop Fun!!!

Kristii, this is so adorable. You can make so many and change them up with the paper color. They would be so cute on a small table top tree filled with Santas. Thanks
