Papertrey Ink April Blog Hop

Hi there dear friends!!! It's time for the PTI April Blog Hop!!!  This month the challenge was to make a masculine card.  Those of you who follow my blog, know how difficult it is for me to make a card without flowers, bows, pearls and all of those "girly" embellishments.  I am proud to say however, that I was able to get in touch with my "masculine" side and I created a card without using my favorite goodies.  I almost made a bow for the card, and caught myself and used twine instead!  I am pretty happy with my card and I look forward to making many more "masculine" themed cards!

Here's the Challenge:

The-Challenge
This month's blog hop is dedicated to all the boys and men in our lives!  Now's your chance to create Father's Day projects, boy birthday cards and more to build up your stash!  Focus on masculine color schemes, fresh pattern combinations, understated embellishments and unique uses of images you may already have in your stash!
and here's my take on the challenge:
I used Papertrey Ink's Train Tracks stamps and I had a blast playing with them!!

This set is perfect with Copic Markers, although I would love to stamp and fussy cut the image at some time too!

Supplies Used:
PTI Stamps:  Train Tracks, Through the Trees, and Fly Away
PTI Cardstock:  Ocean Tides, Pure Poppy, Vintage Cream
PTI Dies: Spiral Notebook Page, Train Tracks, Fly Away
Patterned Paper: October Afternoon Modern Homemaker-Percolator and Party Line
Ink: Stampin Up! Real Red: Memento Tuxedo Black, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Crushed Olive
Copic Markers
Zig Caligraphy Chalk Collection Marker-White
Baker's Twine

Thanks for stopping by!!!
I'm off to check out everyone's amazing creations!!
Have a great day,
Kristii
