Little Red Scrapbook July Reveal

Happy Friday dear friends!!  I hope this day finds you enjoying beautiful summer days!  I can't believe we are more than half way through our summer break!! It has been an absolutely fabulous summer so far and I have lots to do in the days to come!  Lots of cleaning and organizing is still on my to do list and I am determined to get it done!!

In the meantime, I have my Little Red Scrapbook projects to share with you!
I ordered the stamp set with this month's kit and I am totally loving them!!  They are used in the focal point of this card:
Aren't they beautiful stamped on the colorful dot paper?  The ribbon club is absolutely fabulous too!!   This card is 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" and has rounded corners.  I stamped the sentiment with Papertrey Ink's Happy Trails stamps.  Such a nice sentiment!

I used my June vacation photos with this month's kit and I am pretty happy with how they turned out. Don't you just love the die cut paper included in the kit!!  Love the calendar image printed on it and I used it to add the date to my layout.

These pictures feature my sweetie and our kids at a Seattle Mariners game.  The journaling states:  Seattle Mariners vs. San Diego Padres....Lame game...Great Company!  I fussy cut the patterned paper along the bottom of the circles to make some fun scallops and I also fussy cut a flower.  The date is circled with part of a PTI's Happy Trails stamp selectively inked.

The next layout features my sweetie and our best friend Charley.  We took a long walk along the Puget Sound and took a brief photo break.  Isn't this a great photo??
I used several of the kit stickers and also some of the amazing embellishments as well!  What an awesome kit this was!! For the title I used Thickers from the kit and a PTI Wonderful Words die cut.  I also stamped another butterfly onto the dot paper.  I think those butterflies are my new favorites!!

The last layout includes a great photo of my daughter and my sweetie in front of Pike Market.  A bystander got in on the fun and handed Beth the flowers for the photo!! How sweet was that?  The flowers made the photo that much sweeter!!!

I punched the circles out of the patterned paper and created a scalloped border and I stamped the background paper with one of the stamps from the kit.  This layout includes lots of fussy cutting and the sweet bird embellishments included in the kit!

I just loved working with this kit and I hope you were able to get one for yourself!!
Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you tomorrow with the Card Patterns Sketch of the Week!!
Have a great day,
Kristii
