CPS and Papertrey-a match made in heaven!!!

Happy Thursday dear friends!!! Today is the beginning of a four day weekend since school is out Thursday and Friday, whoooo hooo!!! I am busy cleaning out a closet and catching up on many things I haven't had time to take care of, and that includes grocery shopping!!! Last night a dear friend of mine, who is absolutely amazing by the way, came over to scrap with me. We had the best time chatting and creating. She got a lot done, and as for me, well, I ended up moving a lot of different papers around. I couldn't decide on anything!

I chose to work on a Card Positioning Systems Sketch and play with my new Papertrey Ink Stamps!!! You can't find a better combination than that!! I pulled out some old Christmas papers from Pink Paislee which are a good two years old and you know, they really inspired me!! I am enjoying using up my stash, and I just have to say, it is about time I did!!!

Benny called during our visit, which made me sooooo very happy. I felt bad for Melinda, but she totally understood! It had been a couple of weeks since I had talked to him and it was soooo good to catch up! He sounds absolutely fantastic!!! Only three more weeks, and we head to Missouri to attend his graduation! I can't wait!!!

After Melinda left, I took a short break and ate a quick snack. I must have needed some nourishment because after I came back, I was finally able to put my card together. You know how the light bulb finally goes off and a bright idea suddenly comes to you and the whole project suddenly comes together? Well for me, it was to cut out the trees and add them to my focal point. After adding the trees, I was able to sit back, sigh, and say there it is!! I love it when that happens!!!

Here's the sketch:
