Papertrey Ink March Blog Hop

Hi there my sweet friends!! I trust you've had a wonderful week! We have had some hints of spring in the air, but we are also having lots of cloudy skies and snowy weather. The temperatures have been warmer and I can tell you without a doubt, I am loving the warmer weather!! I'm also loving working more with pastel colors and spring images!! I love this time of the year!!!

It's time to share my take on the PTI March Blog Hop with you! Here's the info:
Embroidery Floss

For the March Blog Hop we are challenging you to use embroidery floss in a fun and inventive way on
your project. This could include stitching, wrapping it around and tying it like ribbon, braiding, accenting
tags, embroidered patterns or anything else you can dream up! We look forward to seeing your
creations!

Here is my take on the challenge:
I just love the cute little images included in Friendship Jar Spring Fillers and in the Postmarks set!! I thought it would be fun to do something different and combine the two and see what I could come up with! You can see in the following photo how I incorporated the embroidery floss. I used the Stampin Up! Paper Piercing template to poke holes for the stitching. I truly enjoyed this project!!!
Supplies used:
PTI Cardstock: Rustic White, Kraft, Sweet Blush, Spring Moss, Lemon Zest, and Aqua Mist
PTI Stamps: Friendship Jar Spring Fillers and Postmarks
Large Egg: Crafty Secrets Stamps
Ink: Papertrey Ink Dark Chocolate; Tim Holtz Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire, Crushed Olive, and Brushed Corduroy; Stampin Up! Real Red; Memento Tuxedo Black
PTI Dies: Tiny Tags
PTI Felt: Vintage Cream
PTI Button Twine
Copic Markers
Pinking Shears
Kaiser Craft Pearl

Thanks for stopping by!!!
I appreciate you tremendously!
Kristii

This is such a unique combination of stamps, all working together beautifully. I love that sentiment, my best work friend says it all the time. I think that postmarks set will go well with so many sets. Sorry you couldn't link your post, but glad I got to see it.

It's beautiful Kristii. I love your take and combining the two sets so perfectly. You've opened to my eyes to yet another way to use the Postmarks set. Brilliant. Got my set yesterday so I'll be playing with it today - yippee!
