Case Study 3rd Anniversary

Whooo hooo!  Happy Saturday dear friends and welcome to the Case Study 3rd Anniversary Blog Hop!!!

Case Study is one of my all time favorite challenge blogs and I am so thrilled to be joining them in their 3rd anniversary festivities!!   Congrats on 3 wonderful years, CASE Study!

Current and former CASE Study Designers and Muses are participating in 3 days of blog hops, and you can win some fantastic prizes just by leaving comments along the way.  Be sure to stop by the CASE Study blog to see the full list of participants and find out how you can win!

Each designer is choosing their own source of inspiration for their project and I have chosen this card by the amazing Maile Belles:
I love the textured panel under the flowers and I decided to use the PTI Chevron cover plate to add the texture I was looking for.  I used one of my all time favorite flower stamps-PTI's Rosie Posie and I added some depth to the flowers with the Rosie Posie Step 2 stamp.  Love, love, love this combination!!

I added a little happy banner and a die cut birthday strip and instantly had a pretty little card for Benny's girlfriend!!

Supplies Used:
PTI Rosie Posie Stamps and Dies
PTI Rose Posie Step 2 stamps
Stamper's Select White Cardstock
PTI Birthday Dies
PTI Chevron Die
PTI Sweet Blush Ink
PTI Aqua Mist Ink

Thanks for stopping by and I can't wait to see what you create!!  Your next stop in the Hop is the amazing Christina MacLaren
Hope you have a fabulous day,

Festive Friday Element Challenge

Happy Friday dear friends!!  I have been having a ball this week with my family and I can't believe it's Friday already!!  Time does fly when you're having fun!!

My sweet friend Meredith from the Festive Friday Challenge invited me to join along in the fun this week!!
Here's the challenge:
On to this week's challenge... it's time for an Element Challenge!

and here's my take on the challenge:
When I saw the challenge was using Candy Canes, I wasn't sure what I would do.  I really don't have any candy cane stamps or paper.  Then I remembered my trusty Friendship Jar Stamps from PTI!!  It has been a while since I've used them and they would be a perfect fit with my favorite PTI Snowman Die and Stamps!  Since I had all of my favorites out, I thought I would go ahead and use my favorite Glitz Design Patterned paper once again.
To make the Candy Canes.  I stamped the Candy Canes onto PTI's Vellum paper using Versamark Ink and then embossed using Ultra Fine Embossing Powder. Once the candy canes were embossed, I colored the back side of the Vellum with a R29 Lipstick Red Copic Marker.  I love the way it turned out!!  Totally fits with my Vintagy distressed snowman!!

Thank you to my friend Meredith for inviting me to play along with this week's challenge!!  I think I may have to join in more often so my Christmas Cards will be done on time!!
