Let's Get Spooky!!

Happy Monday dear friends!!!  It's Monday and that means it's time for a little Prickley Pear Rubber Stamp goodness!!  Today I made a fun little tag card using the Dancing Skeleton Clear Stamp Set.  What a fun set to play with this Spooky time of the year!!
There are so many options with this fun set!  You could play all day!
I Stamped the Coffin out of Crate Paper's Emma's Shoppe Paper and used it as the tag holder.  I also combined Pink Paislee's Phantom Collection papers as well as Crate Paper's Farmhouse collection.
There's the skeleton bride peeking out of her coffin!  Isn't she lovely?

For inspiration, I used Deconstructed Sketch #23:

Happy Wednesday my sweet friends!!  Autumn is an amazing season full of color and beauty.  I can't tell you how full my heart becomes when I take in the all of the brilliant splendor of the changing leaves!!

I wanted to make a card using these glorious colors and I found some Crate Paper Farmhouse papers that would work perfectly!!!  I used the
VLVOct2011 Week 2 sketch and some of my favorite Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps-Pumpkin Clear Stamps Set 2.
Isn't that pumpkin absolutely delicious??  I stamped the pumpkin with Tim Holtz Rusty Hinge ink and fussy cut the flowers from the patterned paper.

Exciting News to Share!!

Good Morning Dear friends!!!  I have some very exciting news to share with you!!!!

I am so happy to announce that I have been asked to be a guest designer at Two Peas in a Bucket for their 30 days of Stamping and Cardmaking Event!!!

Whooo hoo!!  If you haven't had a chance to follow this event at Two Peas you can check it out here.  They have invited Tim Holtz, Wendi Vecchi, Kimber McGray, Lucy Abrams, Jennifer McGuire, Ali Edwards, Debbie Olson.....and I can't believe it, yes, they invited me!!!  I am beyond thrilled!!!  You should see the huge smile on my face!!!  :)

I was asked to use one stamp three ways....which is one of my favorite types of projects!!!
Here is the stamp that I chose to play with:
and here is the set of cards I created using this stamp:

There are so many possibilities when you play with a collage stamp!!  I paired the stamp up with Crate Paper's Emma's Shoppe Collection and I loved the results!!!

In the first card, I stamped the image onto cream cardstock and inked the edges with Brushed Corduroy Distress ink. I stamped the image again onto cream cardstock and then I colored in the bird, flower, and leaves with Copic Markers. I fussy cut the colored images and glued them onto the first stamped image to create dimension.

Copic Markers are so fun to play with!  Look at the dimension in the flower!!
I layered three sheets of patterned paper under the stamped image and added a bow!  Such pretty papers in this line!!!
In the second card, I used the stamp as a background image. I inked the floral edge of the stamp with Versamark Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.
So different from the first card, you wouldn't even know you used the same stamp!  What a great way to dress up plain cardstock!

The third card shows the image stamped in black on patterned paper. Simple and easy, yet very effective. Thanks for looking!
