Day 4 of my Commitment to Wellness

The treadmill is becoming my best friend and I can already tell that my countenance is improving!!!  What a difference it makes knowing that you are working to take better care of yourself!!!  I have cut soda out of my diet and I am eating in moderation.  That is probably the best change I have made so far!!!  I just kept on saying....I'll do it tomorrow...I'll do it the next day....but tomorrow didn't come until this week!  Thank goodness for Lisa and her challenge!!!

Not only am I changing my physical habits, but my spiritual habits too!!!  My Wellness Challenge theme song is Motions by Matthew West--absolutely awesome lyrics.  You can listen by clicking on the utube on the left!!

Lyrics:
This might hurt
It’s not safe
But I know that I’ve gotta make a change
I don’t care
If I break
At least I’ll be feeling something
‘Cause just ok
Is not enough
Help me fight through the nothingness of life

I don’t wanna go through the motions
I don’t wanna go one more day
Without Your all consuming passion inside of me
I don’t wanna spend my whole life asking
What if I had given everything?
Instead of going through the motions

No regrets
Not this time
I’m gonna let my heart defeat my mind
Let Your love
Make me whole
I think I’m finally feeling something

Take me all the way
Take me all the way
Take me all the way

So Sketchy!!

Here is my latest layout for the So Sketchy blog by Allison Cope!!  You will have to check out her site and play with her sketches!! They are awesome!!!  I know that she will be having a DT call soon and you will surely want to apply!!!
I was having some scrapper's block with this sketch, so I shrunk everything down and focused on the picture and the fact that my sweet girl just sparkles!!!    I used Collage Press tags to help support that theme.    Isn't she a cutie!!!

I hope your weekend starts off with a bang and that you walk in the light of His love!!!

WAY TO GO!!! You are definitely rocking this wellness challenge! My official start day is today! I have this weird thing about numbers and the 15th sounded like a good day to start...lol!

Just a comment about your LO...you need to teach a class on moving beyond scrapper's block! That layout is wonderful. I think it is actually one of my most favorite you have done! Hope you have a wonderful, wonderful weekend!

I love the So Sketchy blog!
And congrats, on your "commitment to wellness," success! It makes a huge difference doesn't it!

I am in the work-out phase. Meaning, I am finally exercising daily and it makes me feel so much better about myself :0)

Next is the eating phase. Watching what I eat :0) I have a feeling that phase will be harder (lol)

I absolutely LOVE that song and the lyrics are awesome. It's funny, when that comes on the radio, my 9 year old daughter loves it...we all sing along at the top of our lungs :) Kudos on your execise commitment - that's exactly what I need to do. Love your page also!

I love your take on this sketch. I just looked at the sketch and all the circles could have made for a very busy layout. I love that you still used the concept but made a sweet, simple layouts that shines. I love the little touch on the right side of the tags all together. I have added the so sketchy blog to my favorites, looks like there is great inspiration there!!
