Inspiration from my Pantry

Hi there dear friends!!!! I hope this post finds you warm and toasty!!! We are in the freezer here in Montana!!! The temperature is -6 degrees now with the low forecast to be -16....brrrrrr!!!It really is gorgeous here with all the snow and now that we are on Thanksgiving Break and I don't have to go outside, I say...."Bring it on!!!" It will be perfect weather for baking and celebrating all that we are thankful for!!!!

A fellow PTI enthusiast, Ted, issued a challenge on his blog, Happily Ever Crafter and I thought it would an interesting challenge, so I gave it a try!!!! Here's the challenge:
You're going to go to your kitchen and find something (ANYTHING that's food or kitchen consumable related) and use that as your inspiration. Preferably, I want it to have a label or some brand or something on it so you can use it as your inspiration.
Here's my inspiration:
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to use a can of Pumpkin for inspiration. I wanted to make a card for my sweet co-worker and here's what I came up with:
I took the colors and the banners from the label and used those and the turkey to form the card around. The PTI Banner Builders worked perfectly for this project as well as the PTI Gobble, Gobble set!!!
Supplies Used:
PTI Cardstock: Rustic Cream and Kraft
Bazzill Brown
Inks: PTI Dark Chocolate
Tim Holtz Distress Ink by Ranger: Rusty Hinge, Barn Door, Wild Honey, and Brushed Corduroy
PTI Stamps: Background Basics- Tin Types; Gobble, Gobble, Banner Builder Collection
Read Lead Paperworks: Vintage Worn Dot Pattern
PTI Dies: Gobble, Gobble; Banner Builder Collection
PTI Button Twine
Kaiser Craft Pearls
Buttons from my stash

This project was a bit of a challenge for me, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!!! If you want to get in on the challenge, stop by Ted's blog and check it out!! It was a lot of fun!! Thanks Ted!

Well, I hope you all have a wonderful evening!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!!! I'm so thankful for all of you!

That is so cute! I love how you used the new banner die/stamp. I have a really hard time using orange, so I can appreciate a great card w/ that color when I see one!
