Good-bye

We spent a couple of days with Benny in Butte before he shipped off to Basic Training. We explored the rich history of Butte and just enjoyed spending time with our boy. My dad rode up from California to see him off as well....how awesome is that!! It was a bittersweet time, but we made the most of it! Here is a picture of Benny and I in the airport. He has since sent me a picture message of his new hair-do...he looks pretty good bald...and I thought his hair was short before, lol! I expect that I will be getting a phone call from him today telling me he made it to Fort Jackson ok. Then Basic training will truly begin. My heart is with him and my thoughts and prayers are continually for him. This is going to be a long 3 months!!!

Just looks divine sweetie!! I'm so thinking of you with your boy off for training..... I have 3 boys, each either a parent of about to become one, none of them choose Army or armed forces....bit sad really. In other ways I'm a bit relieved really. Loved the photos.. Loved the sneak peeks too!
Chat soon God bless

Im sure next time you see him you'll be wondering how the boy that left home is now a man.
